Lace up, leash up, and walk for a cause!

Paws at the ready — Illuminate Paws Walk is making its glowing debut in 2026, with Illuminate Adelaide and RSPCA SA joining forces to shine a light on this joyful community event.

Gather in Rymill Park as hundreds of dog lovers and their four-legged friends come together to kick off a glowing adventure along the City Lights trail. With tails wagging and collars glowing, you’ll step into the night and join a sea of paws walking for a powerful cause — supporting animals in need.

This is more than a stroll. It’s a celebration of the bond between people and their pets, and a chance for our community to shine together in the fight against animal cruelty. Every step you take helps raise awareness for the RSPCA SA to continue their powerful work of providing rescue, veterinary care, rehabilitation, and new homes for animals who need it most. In the past financial year alone, RSPCA SA responded to over 5,125 reports of cruelty or neglect and welcomed 6,257 animals into their care.

Illuminate Paws Walk promises to be a heartwarming night of wagging tails, twinkling lights, shared purpose, and collective compassion. All ticket holders will receive a glowing keepsake to look the part for the biggest night walkies ever!

So bring your dog, bring your friends, and help turn Adelaide into a glowing procession for a cause that truly matters.

Each ticket purchased will register one dog to walk the trail (with unlimited human companions able to join), a glowing collar keepsake, and the opportunity to take part in this inaugural event. Part-proceeds of all tickets will directly support RSPCA SA.

Registrations are limited, secure your ticket today.

Dog Safety & Event Guidelines

To help ensure the event is safe and enjoyable for everyone:

• Dogs must remain on a secure leash at all times (avoid retractable leads).

• Please ensure your dog is comfortable around crowds, lights and noise before attending.

• Some installations include bright lighting and sound effects, which may be overwhelming for sensitive animals.

• Watch for signs of stress such as panting, shaking, tucked tail or trying to hide. If your dog appears uncomfortable, please move to a quieter area or leave the event.

• Keep a safe distance from other dogs unless both owners are comfortable with an interaction.

• Please bring water for your dog and allow them regular breaks.

• Dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations and parasite prevention.

• Clean up after your dog to keep the event enjoyable for everyone.

• Your dog’s wellbeing is the most important part of the evening, so if the environment becomes too much for them it’s always okay to call it a night early.
